MCA losing more Chinese support

Why does MCA has to fight for more Chinese schools? Why don't they just plan for it since they are in the Government? Or is MCA NOT in the Government?

This was an interesting question posed by DAP members during a recent debate with MCA. Malaysia's Deputy Education Minister and MCA stalwart was at a loss in answering the questions above. Why can't MCA just plan and build more Chinese schools instead of having to fight tooth-and-nail everytime with UMNO? Why does MCA accuses DAP of just talking and talking as there is nothing much DAP can do as they are NOT elected into the Parliament? Why is it that MCA who represents the ruling coalition cannot even implement a decent education policy for Chinese schools after all these years they are in the Government?

So, what has MCA done all this while except to get token contributions during election time? What has MCA done all this while as UMNO continues to have the final say on everything? What has MCA done all this while when after 50 years of independence there is still NO CHANCE for a Chinese to become an Education Minister, a Home Affairs Minister nor a Deputy Prime Minister not to mention NO CHANCE at all for a Chinese Malaysian (or an Indian or a Kadazan) to become the Prime Minister in Malaysia?
