Malaysian Law Minister's Unlawful Son

Drives a Porsche and assaults security guard

Hmmmph... this story begs many questions:

1. How can a son of a Malaysian Minister own a Porsche (it is not impossible, just how?). BTW check the prices of Porshes in Malaysia

2. The son has a bodyguard who drives a luxury MPV.

3. The son refuses to register on entering a condominium (brandishes his father's calling card).

4. Bodyguard and/or son assaults security guard.

5. Case is hurriedly closed by the Polis.

Hmmmph... another typical UMNO politician story.

The shit begins to pile on BN

Najib takes the credit while BN gets the shit

While Najib's approval rating seemingly improves, the same cannot be said for BN. As Najib tries to take credit for everything good (even apologizing to the public for his past sins) more shit is exposed on BN which Najib cunningly avoids.

No Sympathy For The Star

The Star gets no help for sucking up to BN

The Star has been good at playing ball with BN but when they made a mistake they realized not even BN will help them, least of all CSL.

It is not surprising that even Malaysian netizens have not been sympathetic to their plight (due to their penchant for bashing the Opposition) and so when the day comes when they lose their license to print will CSL will be there to "comfort" their employees? You can bet citizens like me will have no sympathy for The Star.

Why UMNO not satisfied with The Star's explaination

No winner in MCA vs DAP debate

But there IS a clear LOSER and interesting sideshow

The recent debate by DAP and MCA was very much hoo-ha and not so much in real action. Ir was like waiting for Transformers 2 and getting Scooby Doo instead.

However the highlight of the event must have been the Q&A session where an interesting lady brought up some very (un?)pertinent issues but managed to score high points in visibility.

Jessie Ooi (now dubbed the Tow Truck Lady by netizens) stepped forward during Q&A and showed her prowess as an upcoming MCA leader but managed to get her foot shot-off and at the same time managed to show everyone how low MCA has sunk.

Watch the video. If you can't understand Mandarin there's the translation. But it is mostly the viewers' comments that are priceless!!

Curtin University apologises over Rosmah's doctorate

Curtin University to retract the term "First Lady of Malaysia"

A week after awarding Rosmah with a PhD, Curtin University of Western Australia, was hit with blast of criticisms. Its Facebook page was swamped by thousands of comments for their poor judgement. Judging by the strongly-worded postings on its Facebook page after the award was announced, Curtin was probably taken aback by the amount of criticisms and bad publicity.

In response to it Curtin has now issued a new media release to announce that it has retracted the term "First Lady of Malaysia" it used while referring to Rosmah.

MCA and Perkasa make good bed partners

Blundering MCA President agrees to work with Perkasa

What do 2 racist parties have in common? Common indecency, that is. MCA President has now agreed that they have no qualms working with Perkasa, a racist outcrop of UMNO bent on stewing racial polemics. MCA has now gone even deeper into its own made hell hole by agreeing that they are now working with Perkasa. Malaysians especially the Chinese community are especially saddened by this new betrayal act from MCA.

The whole incident started when Perkasa held a Chinese New Year event and gave out "white ang pows" with MCA representatives. Malaysian Chinese were offended as "white ang pows" are only given out during bereavement. Looks like MCA knows no depth in going as low as they can.

"Aiyaa... is this ang pow or pek kim?"

Lim Guan Eng: MCA should distance itself from Perkasa

DAP: Why is MCA working with Perkasa?

Najib: Forgive Perkasa as they are UMNO bred racists

Najib's New Year charm offensive on the Chinese backfires

Attacks on UMNO increasing at an alarming rate

UMNO comes under attack from students

About 500 protestors, mostly students, marched to Umno's headquarters in Kuala Lumpur today in a lively protest demanding greater academic freedom.

The students took part in a march and handed over two memoranda to Suhakam and the Government, demanding, among others, the abolition of the controversial University and University Colleges Act (UUCA).
Solidariti Mahasiswa Malaysia (SMM) chairman Ahmad Syukri Abdul Razab, who led the procession yesterday, said the students wanted to send a message to the Government that they would not put up with restrictions to academic freedom that had been “worsening of late”.

“Lecturers have even been restricted from voicing out academic views. This Act also restricts students from involving themselves in the country's democratic system,” he claimed, adding that around 500 students from all over the country had participated in the rally.

They marched from Suhakam's office at Jalan Sultan Ismail to the Umno headquarters at Menara Datuk Onn where they handed over the second memorandum to Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah at about 4pm.

Police aided the movement by helping to direct traffic and clear the way for the march.

Ahmad Syukri praised the actions of the police, saying it showed Malaysians were mature enough to hold peaceful street demonstrations.

The students also lowered a flag bearing the Prime Minister's image at Menara Datuk Onn and raised the SMM flag during the afternoon protest.

Ahmad Syukri said the memoranda contained six demands, including abolishing the UUCA, Educational Institutions (Discipline) Act 1976 (Act 174) and Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996 (Act 555); allowing university students the freedom to speak out and manage campus elections, societies and activities; and to participate in politics.

It is Corrupt As Usual in UMNO

Senior Minister unabashedly proud of family's corrupted reputation in General Assembly

UMNO's General Assembly got up to speed when Minister Shahrizat blatantly showed off her family's prowess at gaining the upper hand in obtaining government handouts.  It was "business as usual" as UMNO members applauded Shshrizat's tenacity and gung-ho attitude in what many will see as typical UMNO arrogance, pride and the "I deserve it" attitude in obtaining handouts from a government under their control.

"I need the condos for my cows"

Don't challenge my right to riches, ok?

Worse still, almost 99.99% of UMNO members think there’s nothing wrong with the RM250 million scandal which saw the taxpayers money were used instead to purchase luxury condo, overseas trips, plots of land, half a million ringgit Mercedes Benz CLS 350 CGI and whatnot.

Instead what was seen was envy of Shahrizat’s new found fortune, whereby the delegates from UMNO Wanita OPENLY urged Najib administration to allocate (more like giveaway) projects to the women wing as well!

"The latest RM250 million NFC Cowgate scandal was awarded to Shahrizat’s family, led by her husband and three children, all of whom know nuts about cattle-rearing except eating beef-satay. It’s amusing that Shahrizat shamelessly, proudly and arrogantly declare that her family deserves it because they were hard-working. " But then, this is UMNO and in UMNO you have to show off what you reap from the rakyat.

And in this Bolehland it is indeed laughable to see the problem being passed on from the Auditor General which first discovered the crime, to MACC who refused to investigate a senior minister and passed the buck to the Police which of course will prescribe the usual "no evidence found" solution! And now in this General Assembly the perpetrator tries to blame everyone else while her boss (another cow - Moohyiddin) tries to defend her to protect his own crimes.

BN has every reason to fear Guan Eng

Bloomberg's reports on Penang's progress has BN trembling

In the first seven months of 2011, Penang won 3.6 billion ringgit ($1.2 billion) of approved foreign manufacturing investment, ahead of the 3.4 billion ringgit that went to Selangor, the state that surrounds the capital Kuala Lumpur, a government report showed last month.

It’s not the first time the state has set the pace for technology investment in Malaysia. Penang, a base for the spread of British influence in the 18th century, was the center of a manufacturing push in Malaysia’s shift from rubber and tin production in the 1970s, attracting companies including Intel Corp. (INTC) and Robert Bosch to assemble chips and build car radios.

Penang’s economic resurgence may bolster the opposition alliance’s claim it can be an alternative to the National Front, which has run the country since independence from British rule in 1957. A national election may be called with 60 days’ notice at the discretion of Prime Minister Najib Razak.
“A lot of this has to do with the dynamism of the chief minister,” said Ong Kian Ming, a political analyst at UCSI University in Kuala Lumpur and columnist for the Edge newspaper.

Lim has managed to keep Penang attractive for international companies even as Najib focuses federal support on regions such as Johor and Sarawak, where his ruling coalition has among its biggest parliamentary-seat majorities.

Penang had 16 percent of the country’s approved foreign manufacturing investment from 2006 to March this year, government data show. The state, a tourist destination with beach resorts and a colonial-era town designated as a United Nations World Heritage site, made up 8.1 percent of Malaysia’s gross domestic product in 2009, based on constant prices.

“The change in government meant that you have reenergized this place,” said Chris Ong, who owns boutique hotels converted from heritage buildings in Penang. “The old state government was here for far too long.”

Who is suposed to vote in Malaysia?

Unless you are an immigrant this government is not interested in your vote

What do you expect if you spend money, sweat and tears to get Malaysians to go out and vote? Let's say you even produced a video and distributed in on YouTube. Why, of course the Malaysian government would want to ban it! How dare you ask Malaysians to vote?

Ban on Pete Teo's UNDILAH! video on all state TV stations

Producer says the ban is ridiculous

However, if you are an illegal/legal immigrant you are always welcome as we (BN) need your vote very much, thank you!
